WECOME TO THE CLUB!
The Women’s Club of Greater Lakeway (WCGL) welcomes women residents of Lakeway, The Hills and the Lakeway ETJ. Our General Meetings are on the third or fourth Monday of each month, September through May, (with exception no meeting in December), at the Flintrock Falls Country Club Ballroom.
WCGL offers every member the opportunity to join Special Interest Groups or (SIGs) of her choice, we have over 20 to choose from, there is truly something for everyone. What a wonderful way to meet new friends, and enrich our lives.
At our General Meetings we will conduct a small business meeting, learn more about upcoming events in our SIG Groups, hear wonderful speakers while having a delicious lunch together (optional) and enjoying the beautiful view of our gorgeous Hill Country Vista.
We will also have approximately four Special Events for you to enjoy doing the year: a Kick-Off event in September/October, a Style Show also generally in October, a Spring Event, and the Installation Luncheon to give an introduction of new officers in May.
These events may take place at other locations. Please print our meeting schedule for the year for more information. Regretfully because of Covid-19 we have had to cancel our Style Show in the Fall of 2020, but it will be back next year in October 2021.
The Coronavirus has changed our world and with it we will adapt to the new guide lines set forth to us by the CDC, County and Local Officials. On behalf of your new Board we hope that you and your family are all safe and well. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in our new year.
For more information, please explore our website. If you would like to be a member of the WCGL, please fill out a membership form to join or renew and send to our Membership Chair Sherry Todd Smith, or at a meeting. To be in our next Yearbook please join or renew by September 2020.

Special Interest Groups
Our SIG gatherings are now in full swing! Continue to browse through this newsletter to read about scheduled activities both for general membership and SIG groups.
We have 23 SIGs which include 8 book clubs. If a group interests you, take the initial step and contact the Chairperson. You may also have ideas about starting/Chairing a new group. The Women’s Club is the ideal milieu for a SIG “start up!”
