The Hills of Lakeway Country Club

Lakeway Painters tribute to Willie Nelson; 30+ artists will display works including watercolor, mixed media, acrylic and pastel. Several of our Women’s Club members will participate! It’s a perfect opportunity to purchase original art.

 

Special Note: The Heritage Committee would like to express appreciation for WCGL’s loan of the Space Capsule for use in the Heritage Committee 2019 NASA recognition called, Walk Me To The Moon. It has enhanced the Heritage Center display and has been enjoyed by many. Thank you from Vickie Taylor and the Heritage Committee.

What a delight it was that the kickoff party at Schmidt Family Barbecue was enjoyed by so many. The food was outstanding, the band was great, and people were able to mix and mingle with each other. Who could ask for more?

We would like to thank everyone for all the help with the Puttin’ on the Ritz Fall Fashion Show preparations: Annette Brown, emcee; Joan Peterson for taking all the reservations; Shelley Smith, who obtained all our wonderful door prizes; JW Rouse, who did our runway music; Pam Ovlen, Kendra Diamond and Shelley Smith, fashion coordinators; Judy Donohue, Cat Larson, and George and Brenda Rickert, performers; Sharon Rogers and Carol Jones, centerpiece designers; Frank White, videographer; John Dann for making our seating chart, and Dianne Haeg and Kay Beasley set-up team supervisors. And also a special thank you to all the WCGL ladies who helped us decorate.
